Notice to customers about product recall

Cordless chainsaw GE-LC 18/25 Li Kit (1x3.0Ah), EAN code: 4006825608335, Art. Nr.: 4501760, I.-Nr.: 21030 and I.-Nr.: 21012

Given the focus on the safe use of its products, Einhell Croatia d.o.o. announces that it is withdrawing the product from the market of the Republic of Croatia: Einhell cordless chain saw, model GE-LC 18/25 Li Kit (1x3.0Ah), EAN code: 4006825608335, Art. Nr.: 4501760, versions of the identification number: I.-Nr.: 21030 and I.-Nr.: 21012, manufactured by ISC GmbH, Landau, Germany.

Einhell Croatia d.o.o. asks all customers who purchased the specified product with the identification number versions: 21030 and 21012 to return it to the store where they purchased the specified product. Customers will receive a refund for the purchased product.

The product is withdrawn from the market of the Republic of Croatia from 20.05.2025. because the product testing conducted by the KWF Services GmbH institution has determined non-compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the product does not meet the essential health and safety requirements according to Annex I, point 1.1.2. and point 1.3.2. of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC or the Machinery Safety Ordinance (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 28/11).

Considering the focus on the safe use of its products, Einhell Croatia d.o.o. announces that it is withdrawing the product from sale:

Einhell Croatia d.o.o. asks all customers who bought the mentioned product to stop using it, and to return it to the store where they bought the mentioned product. Customers will receive a refund for the purchased product.

The product is withdrawn from sale as of 11/15/2024. because the product testing carried out has determined non-compliance with the requirements of the applicable standards:

  • EN 62841-1:2015 (Hand-held electric tools, transportable tools and lawn and garden machinery - Safety - Part 1: General requirements) and
  • EN 62841-2-5:2014 (Hand-held motor-operated tools, transportable tools and lawn and garden machinery - Safety - Part 2-5: Particular requirements for hand-held circular saws), and their test methods.
